# 12/12/2023 PayPal Webhook Failure Bug

## &#x20;:credit\_card: Workaround for PayPal bug

Paypal sometimes doesn't validate it's own webhooks, saying they are not legitimate when they are. When this happens we now do an extra manual API check to see if the information in the payload is correct on the account.&#x20;
